Amid the heinous leak of “#Game of Thrones” #Season 7’s unaired Episode 4 (“Spoils of War”), IMDb has revealed the title of the series' upcoming fifth episode. “GOT” S07 E05 is entitled “Blood of the Dragon.” Those who have watched the leaked “GOT” S07 E04 already have a few hints as to why E05 has this title.

“Blood of the Dragon”

The IMDb post also reveals that “GOT” S07 E05 was directed by award winning American film, television, and theatre director Matt Shakman. The “It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Fargo” director was tasked to create a vehicle to tell a dragon’s narrative.

When we speak of dragons in “Game of Thrones,” we either refer to the real dragon or to a person who belongs to House Targaryen. In the show, the only Targaryens left is Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow whose paternity is revealed during the Tower of Joy episode. And from what transpired in “GOT” S07 E04, one of Dany’s dragons did an exceptional act. Thus, #Episode 5 will most likely be about Jon, Dany, or any of her living dragons.

A Dragon might spill blood

According to Brain Pedia, a Reddit theory says that one of Dany’s dragon will die and will be resurrected by the Night King. The article singled out Viserion as the dragon joining the army of the dead.

It will become an ice dragon to which the Night King will ride to seize the human army.

Some fans take this theory to the next level and come up with fake posters featuring the Night King riding his own ice dragon.

 On Daenerys Targaryen

Some “Game of Thrones” fans who have watched S07 E04 believe that E05 will be about the death of Drogon. In the penultimate scene of “Spoils of War,” Bronn successfully aimed a giant sphere arrow at Drogon’s upper right wing. The mother and dragon duo swiveled downwards in the air.

Drogon maneuvered back and burned down Qyburn’s dragon killer. However, this wasn’t the first time Dany’s favorite baby got hit making it vulnerable to demise through further damages. Thus, “GOT” S07 E05 may actually give us the show’s first dragon death scene.

Jon Snow discovers his roots

Meanwhile, a long-standing theory suggests that “Game of Thrones” S07 Episode 5 might actually shed light to Jon’s parentage. Now that Jon already accomplished his mission in Dragonstone, he might travel back North where he’ll meet Bran and Arya.

Bran as the three eyed raven might actually reveal to Jon what he saw in the Tower of Joy. Meaning, Jon will eventually discover his Targaryen roots and the identity of his real parents – Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Indeed, the King of the North might finally learn he is a dragon raised by wolves (and crows).

“Game of Thrones” S07 E05 airs next Sunday, August 13 on Twitchdl.
